I had designed a personal logo back in 2022 that I wanted to revisit. I wanted to stray from the static, corporate feeling that I felt the old logo encompassed. Below is an exploration of the new logo. I had an overall idea of the design, but needed to flesh out particular nuances.

In looking at different typefaces, I knew I didn't want to stray too far from the original logo. I decided to then focus on different weights, stroke thickness, counter space, and italics.
Design Explorations
I played with different ways of organizing the letterforms, thinking about weight, serifs vs sans serifs, ligatures, and contrast, until finally settling on the design on the right.
